Project Overview
Client: Partners of the Americas
Client Type: Multinational Non-Profit
Location: Panama City, Panama
Audience Type: International Community-Based Organizations
Scope of Work:
Purpose Driven Games (PDG) was invited to present and facilitate a multilingual Gameshop at the Partners of the Americas What Works Conference. The conference aimed to demonstrate how game-based learning can be used to help community leaders explore complex challenges, align across perspectives, and move toward actionable solutions in diverse contexts.
Our Approach
PDG adapted the Perspectives™ problem-solving game for a Latin American and Caribbean audience. The Gameshop engaged community leaders in real-time, collaborative problem-solving, addressing real-world challenges that required navigating competing priorities, lived experiences, and constraints.
- Strategic Consulting: We tailored the Perspectives™ game to fit the unique needs of the Latin American and Caribbean context, ensuring the scenario was relevant and engaging for the diverse group of leaders.
- Training Development: The Perspectives™ game facilitated leadership development by simulating real-world challenges that participants had to solve collaboratively.
- Facilitation: PDG facilitated a real-time Gameshop, engaging participants from 14 countries across Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe in a problem-solving exercise that helped them build shared understanding and develop actionable solutions.
